Diminished Desire I suppose I could be flattered that you want to be my friend. After all the time that has passed perhaps now you can see the value of a friendship. Yes, there was a day I definately desired your friendship and you held onto it with a desperately tight grip. So I connected to you the only way I knew how within the limitatations of a sensual relationship. In this way I was able to feel a part of you if only for those brief moments when we made love. Each time our lips parted the connection was lost as well. So why come to me now and offer me the very thing I wanted all those years ago? Why offer me something I no longer value when you could have given it to me so easily back then when I desired to be your dearest friend. Jameslee@August09,2001 |

James, I think the worst thing a woman can say is I just want to be friends, especially when a relationship ends. Take heart and take care, Maeve |

Thank you maeve and Eagle one...actually the thing I desired the most was a friendship...an emotional bonding...in absence of that I tried to connect any way I could...funny how she would never offer her friendship while we were together but now she claims she wants to be my friend...she said lets get together and go to a movie...I have no desire to go there...James |
