I have walked down this life before,
And with everyday a new hurt that I bore,
I cant change it this is just life,

See her tears stream down her face,
I make a vow and bury it in place,
No more hurt no more pain,
Because as much as things change they remain the same,

Sitting alone with in this darken hour,
Saying goodbye to my soul as it was devored,

Many days that I look to that,
When I hardened my heart and turned my back.

Lead me not into temptation,
I can find the way there mysel

Great work as per usual, Jay. The last line was marvelous. "I hardened my heart and turned my back." Very nicely worded.

I thought you did quite well. Not as good as the previous poem, but still a wonderful job.

I love how you write.. All of your poems are so powerful and filled with so much meaning almost making the reader overflow with your thoughts... and somehow within it all the words start to entwine themselves within your soul until.... they leave their mark within you and you can never forget them.

hey angel I think I am going to start crying because the is probually the best and sweetiest thing that anyone has said to me in along time,
You are right I try to place my whole being in my poems and of course sometimes it just flows like being on angel's wings,
and then I can stubb my toe from time to time. I am gald that everyone enjoys my work but I just give the glory to God because he created this world My heart and my expersinse
of averthing from walking until now and every day foward.

Lead me not into temptation,
I can find the way there mysel
