NOTE: In response to Allan and my challege /pip/Forum45/HTML/000961.html Sorry for all the posts.. and sonnets, please forgive me! ‘Sonnet VIII – Entrance of Love’ Knock, knock, upon my precious dungeon door, An amplified voice instigates a thought. The hand attacks the twelfth hour once more, I arouse to see what this ruckus brought. A man in black velvet robes lifts above, Asking what I would do if faced abrupt. “For Chaos, Logic, Faith, Virtue or Love? And I am sorry If I’ve interrupt.” Love encircles life, it enlightens me. Rest assured that I’ll choose it over all! It fills my heart, like rivers to the sea, And also, it will never let me fall. So as I step on through my loving door, I leave the rest to rot upon my floor. Jeremy D Raulinaitis [This message has been edited by jeremydraul (edited 03-07-2001).] |

Excellent! Woo hoo! So the Sonnet king chooses Love above all! Very nice. I like how you summarized all the choices in one line. Gave a neat impact, and magnified the importance of your choice. Very well done, Jesper! ~Allan Stupidity makes the world go around...and people like us laugh. ~~Elizabeth, to Allan [This message has been edited by Allan Riverwood (edited 03-07-2001).] |

Good job of conquering this challenge, it's a good sonnet And about your Critique message, Jeremy wears dirty diapers "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle" "Life's short. If you don't look around once in a while you might miss it." BothUnknown |

Don't mind me, I'd just like to tell Dopey chaos is my choice. "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle" "Life's short. If you don't look around once in a while you might miss it." BothUnknown |

How'd you guess my pick Dopes JD, another wonderful post you're getting better and better by the hour I actually went back to your original posts I'll tell you what.... You've definitely grown in writing "So long as men can breathe or eyes can see, So long lives this, and this give life to thee." W.S. |

Totally amazing comes to my mind when describing this poem. One of the most interesting sonnets I've ever read. You seem to know how to write perfectly in a poem, which is a rareity.
