This is one of my own little worlds. Acutaly it's my "Ideal Little World". Just wait until the weird one comes up.

In a world of my own
The people are real
Nobody’s manipulated
They know how to feel

The body is irrelevant
The face is a farce
The mind is open
Closed-mindedness is sparse

Nobody’s a jerk
Although some still try
We will show them their souls
And they will cry

In my own little world
There is no pain
No suffering at all
No people are slain

Classes are abandoned
Power is futile
Life is subtle
Lies are brutal

I like my own little world
Rejecting those bias
They are zealots
To evil they are pious

What a wonderful world
Where evil will bawl
Why can’t my world
Be true for all?

Sequel to My Own Little World

Why not you ask
Well that one’s easy
FEAR is the answer
It makes me queasy

The idiots are closed
You can’t win in time
Do what you can now
And the future will be fine

Our children will be saved
By what we do now
So we HAVE won
But THEY must vow

They must try
As such we do
To save their children
‘Til war is through

When peace prevails
And we are dust
We will be thanked and remembered
For being just.

bryan, this is sooo good. i love how you wrote a sequel. that is way cool. i love the first stanza when you said:
"In a world of my own
The people are real
Nobody’s manipulated
They know how to feel"

i think a lot of ppl are afraid to let their emotions show. i know of a certain guy who fits this description to a T hahaha

You have a lot of wonderful thoughts expressed within this poem. I thought it was great

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

Sequels are fun to do. I've done some, but they never turn out any good.
