blindly trudging through the delusions of life I break away from the mentally altered realities of my misconceptions and thought generated understandings My childish reasonings now s h a t t e r e d by truth or fiction (i don't know) as society depicts a false serenity within our flaws substituted by vanity "Tell me why you cry" |

Nifty. And I haven't used that word in Passions before, it applies here. I like what you did with the lines 8 and 9... where you broke up the word "shattered" like that. Also the parenthesis... i have never used them in poetry. they make a neat effect. Great job! Loved it. -Allan When the sun dies, and the earth is thrown off its axis, the two of us will still, at that moment, be thinking of one another. ~~Allan, to Amanda |

Now this is my kind of poem. VERY well written and nicely done. I liked this! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

Hey, I like the poem a lot. I still have it in my library from when you posted it as "Reality Bites!" in Teen #3. Thanks for posting it again, it's really well done "Disagreements stimulate thought, thought stimulates action, and action stimulates life." --Lakewalker http://www.thehungersite.com |
