Okay, here's the challange.... I don't usually write senryu's, and I kept wanting to incorporate nature....  heheheBut I tried, here goes: Dec. 21, '82 Almost Christmas Eve, Baby for the holiday, Celebration time. You'd be amazed how many combined gifts I get....! |

Nicely done... a late birthday, huh? I can empathize on that point, always the youngest one in the class and such... but it DOES have its better points, doesn't it? Great Senryu. I agree that you should try more of these. Eternal life without the darkness isn't life at all- it is a lobotomy. |

Thanks everyone. No, by combined gifts, I meant, here's 1 for birthday and Christmas. You know? Plus, I get nothing for the rest of the year. And, Allan, not a late birthday, because most of the kids in my grade were born in 1983, so I'm one of the older ones, actually!! Well done Jenn, my aunt's b'day is on Xmas day and she hates it... so my mum always makes a special effort to make her have a good day... mum buys her two presents and we make a cake for her and we take time out during xmas to forget about it and concentrate on her b'day! She loves it cause no-one else does it for her and she hates it!! Good poem!! Melz!! You can't hurt me anymore than I have hurt myself already... |

AHHH JENN!!!!! we have the same birthday!!!! i know totally what you mean about getting combined gifts. we get jipped. my parents always go out and do a lot of shopping then they split 75-25 for xmas and my bday.
