Ruthlessly encased in a lair of ignorance Blissful to others, a private hell for me For I have seen the truth behind the lies we weave Deceptions innocently spawn from the search for happiness This search infused with power breeds treacherous hybrids Hybrids capable of doing anything to obtain what they strive to achieve Entrapped by these hybrids, till the day I show the world what I know Hoping that I won’t have to destroy these walls of ignorance alone Passion fuels my love Passion becomes consumed by my love Without my love I become passionless |

I totally feel this. I don't know if I misinterpreted what you meant by it, however, I felt you were talking about being blind to things surrounding you in your world. Suddenly you realize all of it. It's happened to me so often, now it's just ritual. Nice work. xoxo Jenn |

It's all just growing up. Adolescence, the age when our questions are answered. At least, this was my take on it. Hybrids would be... at least it seems to me... the people who hold you back, because they are also searching for answers? Just my amateur interperetation. Very interesting piece, great vocabulary. -Allan We used to hate people, now we just make fun of them. It's more effective that way. --KMFDM |

nice one pal. I liked this. Not my kind of style, but it was still good. I've seen better from you. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |

It was expressed very well, great poem! "Disagreements stimulate thought, thought stimulates action, and action stimulates life." --Lakewalker http://www.thehungersite.com |
