the girl looked up at the stranger, hard to believe this man was not, her father. she loved this man, but now, her innocence is gone. her mother looked at her, worried. she didn't say anything, but stood there, staring at this facsimile of a father. Would you be known by everybody? Then you know nobody. |

i like the poem a lot. what actually atracted to this poem is your title. and in my wonders of what this might be about i figure and i ask "is the poem about you trying to figure out the guy you were looking at and written this poem about the man you wanted to if was your father? the poem was awsome. I really like the last line here. This is a very good poem, and it's very powerful. Nice work. I hope to read more soon. Well done. --Marie Don't ever be someone's slogan, because you are poetry. |

I enjoyed this one....short and quite nicely done. I enjoyed this poem. I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
