This poem belongs to a friend. His idea, brought it about. His little comments inbetween help form it. So I truly must say the poem is that of a friend's feelings. "NOT ENOUGH TIME IN THE WORLD TO HELP ME" The doors that opened a long time ago have closed upon my hand.... The world continues to spin while my world rocks in shambles' bitter red happiness shows itself challenging a sturdy soul mocking what once was rejecting the sadness to show that the true meaning is not of giving up to embrace the smiles of a foridden sun twas the clouds of anger that told me never to forget twas the suns of the horizons who told me to smile twas a small child smiled upon a crying soul to show that it is better to be happy and with then sun upon her back the little child vanished leaving the crying soul alone Regina If you only understood my pain then maybe you could learn to be my friend. Be there. My crying shoulder. The smiles. And the caring i need to survive. |

Wow... that last line hit hard. This is very well written, Regi. Not the best from you, but still something to be proud of. Nice work. --Marie "You're the girl of my nightmares, erotic and skull-faced. |

oh this is really dark and rather an emotional piece. Like Marie and Albertia, the last few lines hit me hard. Well done on this. I enjoyed reading it. ~AF~ "Kelly's my Hero!" "No, Kelly's your heroine." "Kelly has heroin??" "What?" |
