"Did the fairy princess forget
her weeping willow?"

I have almost pieced myself  whole…but the one piece I am missing is you,
the fairy princess that used to lie among my branches.
Do you remember watching the dew drops form on the tips of my lushes leaves that surrounded your delicate bed?
Do you remember swaying in the midnight air among
my branches next to the silver pond?
I remember the silver stone gazing down upon your porcelain face
as you slept soundless in your bed of lushes leaves.
I remember holding your ever so fragile body in my tender branches
as the wind moved through your sparkling hair.
Please tell me you haven’t forgotten the ol’ willow tree.
For the day you do it shall be the death of me.
One simple answer will decide my fate to be but why am I so scarred?
Surely you remember all that has happened. Right?
I mean, how could the fairy princess not remember her weeping willow?
Is that even possible for there to be no recollection of me?
I still remember the smallest details about your hands, wings,
and the song you sang to make it rain.
So how can there be a chance for you not to recall me, the ol’ willow?
Tell me you remember.
Remember me.
The ol’ willow.
Remember.

Please.
Please.
Please.
Please.
Please.

nice so did the princess forget or remember the willlow tree.

I really liked the metaphor used in this poem though it rocked.

in the silence of the night I hear angels voices singing your name oh how beautiful is your name as they sing over and over.  (SPOKEN)

This was nicely done. I enjoyed this piece Dana.

I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust.

I'm in love with my shadow
I admire it daily
