Hi everybody this is something I wrote for my football team, it is for are linemen which I am the proud center for. So I hope you like it and leave a comment for me. The Viking Line We are Gold and Blue We have pride and are brave Hard hitting action is what we crave We are the Viking Line When the backs get hit They say we don't do our jobs right But they wouldn't last one second in the fight We play hard and after the game to look so fine But thats all right were the Viking Line After the season we'll be the best of the best But people will jest we didn't pass the test We don't care were the Viking Line Cause we don't care about the fame and Glory Or being the headliners in the newspaper storys Because we are the Viking Line -nicholas- |

Although I'm not much of a football fan (FORGIVE ME!!! hehe) I thought this was a great tribute to your team! There are a few spelling errors that disrupted the flow of the poem, but other than that, it's a good piece! Offensive line is the heart of the team. Without a good line the backs can only do so much. The game is won in the trenches.... You expressed this well.....I'm quite the skinny one but I played Right Tackle 1yr and Right Guard 2yrs. I loved it to death until I became a Back....Yes I'm a traitor! haha... Oh well......well done!  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
