When I close my eyes
All I see is you
Staring and smiling..
You let me know you're here
Awakened by the wind
I slowly open my eyes
Then my vision of you dissapears
I wish you were here with me
Then I'd never have to close my eyes
I love you more than anything
(don't ever forget that)
But for now I'll be patient and wait
And until I feel your arms around me
My eyes will always be closed

~If I had a star for everytime you made me smile, I'd be holding the entire midnight sky in my hands~

Wonderful poem!! This is so sweet.. and it reminds me of myself every night before I fall alseep, and every morning when I wake up.
Hope you don't have to keep your eyes closed much longer...
