Happy now, Lakewalker? This is actually a repost, but since I don't have anything new written, I chose this one to post here. Sometimes when you love someone it hurts you real bad Along with friendship come the good times and also come the sad There are things that have to happen that affect you and your friend And there's nothing you can do about it except wait for the end. You wish that you could just reach out and take away the pain But from all the grief and sorrow there is something you can gain. Remember that the book of life never states things will be fair And sometimes all that you can do is show your friend you care. These situations teach you the real meaning of strife And the lessons you will learn from them will last you all your life. |

Good to see you posting in here, Elizabeth! Anyway, this is a pretty good piece. I can't say it's your best, but I like it. The things you say are very true, and you give some great advice. Thanks for sharing. "Men judge generally more by the eye than by the hand, for everyone can see and few can feel."-Machiavelli |

This has a good message. I like this a lot! Good job... --Marie I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am. |

Great job on this one. A lot of truth within it! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

Ah, quite inspirational. I think a lot of young people could gain a lot by reading this. Good job, Elizabeth. Thank you for gracing us with your presence. ~Allan If I had your eyes, I'd be blind. Erica, thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this. It's one of my older pieces, written about two years ago, and it was inspired by one of my friends (who still hasn't seen it, lol). Anyway, thanks! Marie, thank you very much! Javier, glad you liked! Pixie-Babe, you're right, it is very true! Many thanks! Allan, well aren't you sweet. Glad to be here reading in Teen. Thank you! |
