Washing Machine. Wash away the pain, Rinse out all the hate, Boil me once again, And spin me to my fate. Wash me in my washing machine, Dry me out and I’ll feel clean. Wash away my feelings, Rinse out all my thoughts, Boil me, leave me reeling, And spin my life too short. Wash me in my washing machine, Dry me out and I’ll feel clean. Wash away the answers, Rinse out all desire, Boil me in your cancers, And spin me in your fire. Wash me in your gasoline, Burn me out and I’ll feel clean. Undoubtedly one of the weirdest things I have been inspired by... although the submarine and the prawn crackers are up there as well... Zu. Love is a friendship caught on fire. |

Pretty creative! I like how you write because you combine your creative mind along with your beautiful writing skills and put down all these different kinds of poems that I haven't seen very much in the forums. I hope to see more! I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |

I'll ditto Dopes with the creative comment. It is so funny how objects as simple as a washing machine give you inspiration for a poem. What you have written is very interesting and even more, thought provoking. Thanks for such a great read...I'm off to read the submarine one now. ~AF~ "It is not necessary to change. GREAT analogy. You're very creative in your poems. I like that... Awesome job. --Marie I never thought that you would ever be the one to let me down. I guess that just goes to show how wrong I always am. |

Ah....... outstanding! :d Now whenever I do laundry (which is never), I'll think of the great Zu. ~Allan If I had your eyes, I'd be blind. For I can only see out of my own. ~~Carly Van Dort |

This poem really brought a smile to my face. I didn't think you could compare a spin cycle to anything "The heart can think of no devotion |
