(haha... something from my fourth writing year, age eleven. just had a vague memory of it, decided I'd share. See what you think. I've come a VERY long way. REMEMBER now, I was a kid.) "A Pile of Moss" A pile of moss, he ate my boss. He ate my boss, that pile of moss. A pile of moss, he ate my dental floss. He ate my dental floss, that pile of moss. A pile of moss, he ate my best friend Ross. He ate my best friend Ross, that pile of moss. He ate my boss, my dental floss.... and my best friend... it's no big loss. |

So you ARE human. Thanks for clearing that up for me. ~AF~ "To alcohol! The cause of - and solution to - all of life's problems!" Homer Simpson |

Correction-- I ~was~ human, at age eleven. If I had your eyes, I'd be blind. For I can only see out of my own. ~~Carly Van Dort |

How cute!! Once when I was 9 I wrote this poem about the sun. I found it the other day and started reading...the whole time thinking OMG I wrote that??? Well it was kinda funny now even if I was trying to be a serious poet at the time. Very cute, keep writing!! Luv Always, ~*~Priscilla~*~ How come it is so easy for a person to say "I hate you," but it is so difficult for someone to say "I love you" and really mean it???? |

This one's goin in the libary, not cuz of it's Amazingly-well-written factor(which isn't portrayed, haha), but because it made me smile. Who knows what would have happened if I didn't smile just now.....poooor ross..hahaha...... ~Carly "The eye sees a thing more clearly in dreams than the imagination awake." - Leonardo da Vinci |

HA! Well, if you ever get sick of writing poetry, I think you might be able to pick up where Dr. Suess left off. Jon "Your anger is a gift"-Rage Against The Machine |

Awesome! This is dang funny. I think you were born a poet if you write this way at age eleven, lol. I could barely rhyme in poetry at that age, lol. I remember the painstaking efford I'd have to make every time I got an assignment to write a poem in school. Funny how interests change over time, eh? ANyhow, this is a very good poem. Congradulate the self of your past, lol. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |
