It’s hard to say goodbye To a place you know as home To pack your bags and wonder How far you’ll have to roam And scary still to guess Just what lies up ahead So now my friends it’s time To say things I’ve left unsaid Serving you was my pleasure I’ll miss you one and all I was always here for you At your beck and call But now I’m growing weary And must let someone take this task I know that she will always Do everything you ask Treat her well, as you have me Be kind and gentle in your ways And she will serve as I did Through all your Passionate Days Farewell, my faithful poet friends.
