The lilt of word in dulcet tone most surely flows yet still , I sense the loss of her refrain , the the way her thoughts would spill onto the page in fragile wisps evoking tranquil scenes , of glades that lay in rolling hills among the evergreens Attuned in subtle ways she graced us each through eyes renewed , and eloquently shared with us , here where they might be viewed , those visions which inspired all , remembered as a gift. Was greener that , the grass which called and caused her words to drift ... away from these admiring eyes that seek familiar name ? Once more to whisper 'crost that spanse where echoes still fan flames of leaves alight with Autumn's hue that stirred at her caress . Where gone this sprite who's words spoke true , allure of Pan's temptress She did convey idyllic dreams that flowed from pure emotive streams . In truth was not imagined though , perhaps too late to tell her so . [This message has been edited by Dr.Moose1 (edited 01-22-2001).] |

This is beautifully penned, Dr. Moose. I miss her too. As much as I would miss you if you were no longer gracing us with your lovely gift. Denise |

This is beautifully done, Doc... and don't these silly poets know that once we let them in the door, we lock it behind them??.. |

DrMoose~ I have not seen a lovelier write on this day ! The cadence, the lilt, the sincerity of thought - Within your quill, such grace If I were the poet, thusly sought - I'd hurry back to this place~ For myself - I thought immediately of a poetess that I miss very much. I shall drop her an e-mail to let her know that the circle is broken without her. Thank you for a gentle reminder to reach out again. *Hugs* for a wonderous write. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Well, What can I say except thanks for the feed-back ? I think I made it as clear as I could without naming names . We have been deprived of a fantastic influence , and one that is sorely missed . Doc |

Wonderful write. Beautifully articulated. ~Alison~ "Close your eyes, and you'll see. Cover your ears, and you'll hear." |
