I stop myself from telling all. I fear that he would be appalled. I'm half afraid he'll go away. The other half's afraid he'll stay. I fear he'll look me in the eyes with no reprieve of compromise. And just suppose he took my hand? He'd feel me shake. He'd understand the full effect he has on me. I'm so afraid he just might see... and even if I followed bliss, what if he should want a kiss? And should we kiss, oh what then? Must I choose lover over friend? If indeed we would make love? I fear I could not get enough... with just the thought of his sweet eyes-- I could not see, I'd be quite blind, (don't make me look - I know I'll cry.) shivers born within his sighs... his whispers? ELECTRICITY. A resonation deep inside... this fluttering, this quickening - Of love? I'm terrified. |

WOW! this is serious! i know this one..trying hard not to fall in love with your friend? daydreaming of a moment you could tell him...but never daring...! how will it change "us"...?? yep..been there... unless of course i read it all wrong...but thats what i got out of it..and i think you did a wonderful job putting this one together!! hugs, g "i was thinkin' if you were lonely maybe we could leave here and no one would know at least not to the point where we would think so..." |

Maybe he's terrified too! Love your poem so I thought I would write this from his view For you ________________________________ She Holds My Courage Oh my! There she is I need some guidance where's the Wiz I have a brain but where do I start She holds my courage she found my heart I should have told her but I lied Does the meaning of love mean "terrified" But I'm not yellow like this road I certainly love her and she must be told Here she comes what do I do She looks at me with eyes so true I'll aim, close my eyes I'd better not miss I hope she'll fall in love from this kiss ____________________________________ You inspire me serenity… thank you dear ……….  |

LOL... well? you're only scared of 2 things... things which you know have hurt you in the past and things which you can't figure out and love is both of them..... so? what's the answer? ... keep writing poetry like this and one day you'll probably know it and when you do, let me know, k? I want to thank everybody, but especially me mum--as I've always said? you do give the best advice!!!! lol and hugs...and...? who knows...maybe I will...god knows I'm dressed for the occasion right now...lol...
