Ague Virginia Salter barking, coughing, retching that’s she began her day there’d certainly be no dancing, profoundly there’d be no play her cats would run and hide each time the fit of ague would send her over the side in a rousing blast of “Achoo!” they surely must have thought the dogs had entered there so high upon the rafters they could only sit and glare popping, pounding, exploding her sneezes and her barks their minds and heart were imploding as the room seemed filled with sparks every hair on their backs and tails stood erect and rigid sir like nails upon the blackboard gave them no will to purr so if you get the creep and you get the crud and you have feline entities your name will soon be mud © January 20, 2001 |

(giggles) Oh yes, me and my family have always had those feline follies too. Cats and dogs, oh how mischievious they can be (smiles). Excellent poem, my friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Thanks, Noah, for reading and your comment. btw, I don't have the flu. My daughter is getting over it, but she's in another city and state. Her cats have been devouring her lap. I guess a 102.7 degree temp was rather cozy for them. ;o} |
