I Cannot Find Her Name I often hobnob with despair By merely saying I don't care. But those that see can see right through. The petty of the hobnob rue. I searched the world in fired find An answer for this tired mind And fly above in sanguine shrug That literal hole that I have dug. I've rubbed many Aladins lamp Searched in many a dreamers camp. I fantasied in ecstasy I sipped the tea of agony. I've touched a few of outstretched hand Hid within the time and sand And felt and heard the angels sing The vespers that my heart does ring. But never has it rend in thaw This name I penned upon the door. [This message has been edited by Seymour Tabin (edited 01-18-2001).] |
