The Day is Ours

Today Lets fly
lets take to the sky
and leave behind this busy-mess

Lets go to where
there's fresh air
where we can relax in serenity's caress

Lets land in a meadow
where things are mellow
Lets live in the fragrance of wild flowers

And enjoy true pleasure
You and I, forever,
because we want to-because, the day is ours

Take advantage of the day anytime you can......and if you can point me to a place where the air is truely clean then I am on my way myself.  Wonderful write.  I loved the attitude in it much.

Now that sounds like a real refreshing trip! When do we get started? Oh you mean... you didn't write this just for me? I... well I.. I'm sorry I just got so carried away...It seemed like such a wonderful way to spend the day...oh well I'll just have to find someone else to fly with sigh.........thanks for the uplifting poem.....ethome
