Blue

The feelings I hold deep within myself
Are not too good for my life or my health
People around, they stand and gaze,
Whilst me, I feel, I need some praise.

I cannot go on, like this for long,
That’s why I felt I must write this song,
People stop, they stare, and watch what I do,
Why oh why do I feel so blue?

You! It’s you! You are the one,
Who gave me hope, then left me alone
There was a time when you made me smile,
But I’ve not had that feeling for a long, long while.

I wait & pray that the day will come,
When you’ll come back to me, so we can be as one.
Tell me now, do I wait in vain,
Or is there hope that you’ll end my pain?

Since I wrote this poem, things have started to look up, and my girlfriend is about to have a baby. It just goes to show that no matter how bad things get, they can always get better…..
