* attempt at free verse * I first shall say that I do not know Liz well, as a matter of fact I have maybe spoken with her twice. But from what I have heard and from what I can easily tell This prestigous woman is stronger than might, has a heart of gold, and joy that runneth over. She does not complain over something small she has arms open wide to help all I know from this woman: do not show shame, show your all through her poetry she is so open wide she'll not shame to tell you what her life means. You are far from naught you are far from hate but there is something you have taught and this is not only to myself but I think I can speak for everyone here in the forum: You are an admirable woman, and through your poetry, I wish, at times, I could reach to you and hug you. Since I cannot, I guess my poetry will have to do. |

Blondie (gumby) Wonderful piece of free verse! I 100% agree with you, Elizabeth's poetry is a work of art, and many of times I could feel what she feels... great dedication to a wonderful writer |

your poetry will do just fine.. sincere and sweet gesture. Yes Lizzie has been an example of grace for us all... thank you for sharing your experience and allowing us to reflect on her talent and spirit of heart as well take care jm When to the sessions of sweet silent thought, I summon up remembrance of things past ... I sigh the lack of many a thing I sought. ~Shakespeare~ |

The greatest gift to a poet is the gift of poetry and I know she will treasure it and be deeply honored by your gesture. You are so right when you say everyone in the forum would agree and you don't need much contact with her to figure that one out. Wonderfully penned. |

JM~ She is full of grace and I am so glad that I am able to read her poetry. Mark~ thank you so much for your post! Liz~ You are a wonderful woman and deserve this tribute...it might not be much but I felt it was needed. I have been gone these past months because my mother has gotten very sick, and when I returned I new I could count on good ole' Liz to have poetry there waiting for me to read. Wonderful Poetry at that! You can pull at my heart strings with a simple poem, thank you so much and God Bless... Blondie (Melissa) |
