Northern Exposure Some years ago when I didn't watch much TV there was Northern Exposure a sitcom about a fictitious town in Alaska In recent months I've thought about the afterlife when we're gone is it a heaven of angels and saints or are we returned - reincarnated to do it right To my surprise on television A&E is rerunning the sitcom I'm glued to the set I made a decision I made a prayer today to the Almighty I want to spend eternity in Cicely Not in the real Alaska Not with reruns but just as if the fiction continued after the new shows stopped I want to chat with Ed about his script writing listen to Chris as he broadcasts from the town’s station watch the antics of Joel, Maggie, the latest Rick or Elaine Join the crowd at Hollings’ place Wondering his good fortune with Shelley WOO HOO, such fun at Maurice and Barbara, Adam and Eve Ruth Ann, and all the crew each script there’s something new It really would be heaven for me... The first duty of love is to listen. |

Bill, Nice to see you... Will you get a big head if I said... Magoo, you've done it again. Writing isn't just something I do, it's something I am. |

Time to get cable, I love that show. Reminded me of 1971 when Uncle Sam located my husband and I to Delta Juction, Alaska. Watching "Northern Exposure" was like reliving our early years in Alaska. |

Bill--I guess I might have to watch maybe one rerun, since I never watched the original. This was fun. |
