*hey all. i've been away for... well quite sometime. things look the same (and better) around here. i'm loving all the new faces. i wish i coulda welcomed you all, so WELCOME  apologies for my abscence. i was moving and also...i was making progress in life. having these revalations, learning these strange lessons. i only say strange because they're the ones we all know, but never acknowledge... anyways, i'm not as ... let's just say "dark"... as i used to be. that's affected my writing. (in that i haven't been able to come up with anything!) so here's my first feeble attempt at love life poetry  hehehe. my coming out piece. it's also a sequel to one i wrote a while ago. enjoy.**it's not raining anymore* i crawl out from the corner Slowly rising to my feet. Please don't shine light in my eyes Please don't come in after me The cuts along these broken arms The scars along this beating heart Not one more burn of fiery touch... You kiss me with your flame. We step across the broken glass i'm barefoot and i bleed. The corners of my mind are cold, your touch is so warm to me. You melt away my hardened mask when i hear you smile and brightly laugh Open me up; You give so much and i don't even know your name... If you sing, then we can dance... 'cause i'm not crying anymore. i'll hold you high, just hold me tight... No, i'm not dying anymore. Paint me a smile and hold my hand i won't run; i'll make my stand No black balloons or broken mirrors 'cause it's not raining anymore. i'm not thinkin 'bout tomorrow you just spin me 'round and 'round Take my hand and i will lead us, and i will make forever Now. No words could ever say it all No hurt could ever break the fall Being burned from inside out never felt this way before. If you sing, then we can dance... 'cause i'm not crying anymore. i'll hold you high, just hold me tight... No, i'm not dying anymore. Paint me a smile and hold my hand i won't run; i'll make my stand No black balloons or broken mirrors 'cause it's not raining anymore. The light you shine, it burns my eyes. You won't let go, i don't know why No, i don't know why you're choosing me... but you make me wanna be the man inside you see If you sing, then we can dance... 'cause i'm not crying anymore. i'll hold you high, just hold me tight... No, i'm not dying anymore. Paint me a smile and hold my hand i won't run; i'll make my stand No black balloons or broken mirrors 'cause it's not raining anymore. You gotta love livin, cause dyin's a pain in the ass. |
