Vintage Songs call me easy if you will but I love music that rolls over hills I have a favored little play it sort of waves me through my day morning, noon or night tunes careen me on endless flight is it my vintage years that accept the sweet melody or my vintage ears just hearing a heart’s harmony the soft and sweet trill of composition allows my thoughts to envision starlit skies evening walks quiet talk a surround of arms awakening of charms a sweet caress a certain bless sunshine morns heaven’s horns a coffee mate as morning glories adorn a gate all come forth on the charms in the arms of the melody which swarms my mood and you smile as though you understood aha… just as I knew you would…. for you are vintage, too |

I'd rather not consider myself vintage.....but ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "and you smile as though you understood aha… just as I knew you would…. for you are vintage, too" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ yes, I smiled.....this is a great poem......the songs that came to my mind are of a time that I wished I belonged to........ I hear the vintners saying - "Ah yes - it was a very good year" = As we know it was - and on into the future - we know it will be. `S~ |

You come up with so many clever ideas...I like this one very much... "the soft and sweet trill of composition allows my thoughts to envision starlit skies evening walks quiet talk a surround of arms awakening of charms a sweet caress a certain bless sunshine morns heaven’s horns a coffee mate as morning glories adorn a gate" "and you smile as though you understood aha… just as I knew you would…. for you are vintage, too" Just how did ya know?!?! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |

Oh, yeah ... sweet poet~ Like yesterday's wine ... mellowed with time. Love it and the imagery just popped-my-cork ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Well, I don't consider myself vintage but when I was young the Dead Sea was only sick! |
