Upon a springtime garden walk
A row of roses beckoned me,
And I, delighted that roses talk,
Stopped and listened, to pay them heed.

The white rose begged no finer fate
Than to be envased upon thy sill
To greet thee each morn as thou awakes
To glow and sing, thy desires to fill.

The yellow rose, my Lady Fair,
Requested all its flower crushed,
Its scent a rinse in thine fair hair
To linger there, your fragrance touched.

An orange rose, though to mine watchful eye
A bit more red than yellow hued,
It asked to tint thine elven eyes
With moods of sunlit attitudes.

O, pink rose, it hath prayed a place
Its one appeal, upon thy cheeks
To grace the smile upon thy face
To find the tears of joy it seeks.

But, Oh! my Lady, roses red
Beseech to touch thy golden skin,
Entreat thee to lie upon a bed,
The one that love's true love lies in.

(sigh) Oh, Rick, this was so sweet and beautiful! 9sigh) You show such beautiful pure love through the beauty of nature's daughters, sweet roses. Oh, I love roses too, I love how you described each one with a piece of love. She is a very lucky lady! (sigh) You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing!

Though the rose has long been a favoured subject of romantic poetry, to give each colour a voice of its own is a rather unique concept. Nicely done, thanks for it.

Ohhhh RJ, you really made some of us sigh and then sigh again. You have come a long way baby! Wow this was awesome! You should enter this in a contest I think.
I do love roses and this was too wonderful.
