The nights are endless Those stains that just won't wash away tears are breathless you offered saying you would never stray But the nights are too cold freezing, in my bloodshot burning eyes I feel a new spring, maybe memories of old perhaps, maybe it's just a bushel of lies You had me as your very own and I forgave and forgave even as I toiled thankless caught on thorns I tried again and again to be believeing You said I do, I will why did you not mean the things you said, promised, swore still means to me, everything So I spread my delicate wings to night skies and beyond Of you, our love, once I would sing But it's clear enough, now I am, a chorus of one "Yet each man kills the things he loves...some do it with a bitter look, some with a flattering word" Oscar Wilde [This message has been edited by Raindrops (edited 03-18-2001).] |

So many times it just seems to be a chorus of one...one thinks they are God and you are there servant...one think the world revolves around them...one wants you to spend all your time kissing there behind...sorry...James |
