Of Badgers and Books I'm badgered by a badger, bad, I really think he is quite mad he snooperously spies on me, especially when I watch t.v., watch t.v. is all I do he shouts "Your brains will turn to glue!" Through walls and doors and floors he calls, In kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, halls, and when I think I'm all alone he bellows at me down the phone "Turn to glue, turn to glue!" "Watch t.v. is all you do!", In a fit of pique I bought a book thinking I would take a look, and as I read began to find pictures forming in my mind, Much better than t.v. I found I really couldn't put it down, I saw the badger, just today, He just smiled and winked and walked away. Olias. |

This is very funny. What we need in this world are more badgers. Joyce |

I enjoyed this so much! Badgers always intrigue me. Years ago, my son, who was nightwatchman at a gold mine, in Nevada, tamed two badgers so they would eat from his hand. It was something to see! They have fascinated me ever since. Betty Lou Hebert |

I think being badgered at times can be helpful. This would be a great poem for kids as well as adults. I am glad that I found it. |
