Above the wind-tossed forest, Upon a craggy peak, Just the moon for company, There lies the peace I seek. Where people seldom wander And silence reigns supreme, Except for distant thunder And soaring eagle's scream. Sitting there in solitude, I watch the moonlight wane, Healing fissures in my soul, Till I come back again. These solitary places Have special therapy, Rejuvenating spirits, With nature's majesty! Your poetry is fast becoming a favorite of mine! Just see how virtue repays you, you turn and someone betrays you |

Truly lovely Betty. These solitary places are becoming more scarce all of the time. Love, Joyce |

Thank you Joyce. You're right about the solitary places being threatened. At least the ones close enough to be attainable. Betty Lou Hebert |

How well you write of the therapy offered... and how often I've drunk from nature's prescription. *S* Well done! |
