I am now just like my pillow tear-stained a weeping willow my words no longer reach you you have cut me off so true or were they truth, I meant it true loving only' to cherish the many you's I recall the breeze, me holding tight to your arms in swirling skirts that night I was yours, your sweet butterfly I find me, but, now you have grown the wings inside and left me with my pillow to hold my emptiness I used to love that feel of satin's in our carress Now memories are all my pillow only outlines of me for this butterly will fly again pround and free [This message has been edited by Raindrops (edited 03-17-2001).] |

Welcome Raindrops! This is very heartfelt, very gentle. I shall look forward to reading more from you. The greatest part of a writer's time is spent in reading, in order to write; a man will turn over half a library to make one book. |

Thanks so much. I am hardly a real poet. But a friend told me I would be welcome here. Am pretty much the amatuer. So thanks again. Am trying to learn how to use this place. Am not so good at that either. trying best I can. Thank you so very much Rosemary |

Raindrops, Welcome to Passions. This was very good writing. And some day you will fly again. Lone Wolf Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |

Very nicely presented. I loved the analogy and the imprint on the pillow left behind as you take flight. "I am not now that which I have been." |
