No it is not quite enough to hint a cryptic "life is rough" I give you now dark shades of green and memories of St. Paddy's screams... Parade, charade, a glance of prance a lonely girl, I took a chance, and dressed myself in ribbon's bows and glittered mighty--gave a show... fourteen years old--I dared to dance and everything was rhyme--romance. I drank the mead they offered free, like drinking life--I drank the green. I drank of life. and life drank me. I drank a fife of flute flow sweet. I sang. I danced. I grasped the hand the driver of a bright green van, oh-he-would-bring-me-home you see, and all his friends? of course, they're sweet... They brought me where the levee breaks... they showed me edge of heart forsaked. They tried to clamp upon my breast a jump start as I bit--protest... the back of hand in reprimand, my head enfolded by command... "Don't let her bleed on carpet new! capture blood in towel, fool!" The Mississippi, in the spring, more mighty than a prophet's sing-- they rolled me down the levee's side and there they left me, there to die. How cursed then is sweet sunrise, a glimpse from slit of swollen eyes-- I heard the van roar round the bend and closed my eyes in death's pretend. I heard it stop and footsteps stomp, I heard him mutter, "Oh dear god..." and the driver came to me, and I heard him whisper prayer in plea... "Let her be alive, dear god..." as he pulled me from the sod. The driver that had pulled me in, returned to bring me home again. Every year, I live it new. This time I share it all with you. More like a keening of kaddish-- reliving luck of sad irish. |

Im sorry me twin...and me loves ya ... and more than all that... Im proud of you for the courage this takes ... and proud to call you my friend. hugs baby |
