Just thoughts I know that the fault cannot only be blamed on one, For when separating two life’s, it is not very fun. For time away should be well spent, In a hoping solitude, that lets one vent. The door is open, when one doesn’t wait to long, For working to together, will make the two very strong. The things that have happen is in the past, Resolved, will make them stronger at last. Life that has been drained from the garden in our hearts, But can be watered and weeded, for a new flowers to start. Even though lives seem to grow in different ways, Running in opposite directions never helps if one really wants to stay. Sometimes in agriculture, farmers alternate fields for planting...so as not to deplete the resources of just one---but that's an entirely personal perspective from one who apparently just wants to "play the field"-- ---not trying to make light of your pain, "B"--just trying to make ya smile! |

Hi Bslicker, You have touched on a heavy topic with much talent and desire wonderfully done, and I love the way you expressed it through the garden, Love, Cerenity "God doesn't have to be reminded that we exist. We have to be reminded that He exist!" (Writer Unknown) |

This is very well spoken...its sad to see someone just walk away...and not take a second look at the garden they have...theres always a reason the grass is greener on the other side of the fence...and its usually because of all the B.S.thats spread... |

Those times in a person's life are never pleasant and one has to reach down and gather some strength from within........I like these lines....... "Life that has been drained from the garden in our hearts, But can be watered and weeded, for a new flowers to start." Wonderfully written! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |

Sea -- thank you lots of care. Serenity --- such a true statement... thank you Cerenity -- Living this topic right now. Paula Finn -- This is so true paula and if one thinks the garden is greener somewhere so be it ethome -- i am hoping the the reach is a short one suthern -- you know all relationships need tending, just some more than others. 1slick_lady -- i see that you want to vent here on this poem, and let everyone know what is going on. well first of all no one knows where your at, so yes u walked away. Even your from your own kids, and second this poem has nothing to do with YOU. It is just a subject that i wrote a verse for. So please do 2 things. First leave me alone on my poems, such as i have done with yours. Second get a hold of me so that we can make arrangements for you to come home.. Once again Thank You all, Bernie Bernie Slicker |
