This was written at a "Friday Night Alive" concert last summer held in Pendleton, Oregon Evening Snapshots Virginia Salter Crisscross applesauce on store front sidewalk watching knees and feet go by Cigarette smoke corn dog scents blowing in the wind Touch of amber sifting in to gray marshmallow clouds Country gospel rockin’ ‘round twixt rollin’ jazz Farmer’s market Pepsi wagon puppies, kids, and ants Lamp posts glow a yellow-sun glimmer as sun-dying rays burn a window ‘neath nimbus and there’s music in the street. . . © July 14, 2000 |

marshmallow clouds..........I like that. You've a talent for imagery. After years of searching, I have found I am nothing more, nothing less...I am in truth Just A Woman after all. |

Virginia, I like this a lot. It has extremely vivid images, and feels good, too! Sandra |

Makes me want to be there. Beautiful! A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes. |
