Though it is not summer here, it's summer somewhere, so here's one I wrote last summer.

Summer Morn
Virginia Salter

respite was good
dawn is here
and yawn has left its keeper
the morn is golden
yes, glorified
with the joy of floral creepers

silhouettes design the soil
with lattice lines and cool
peace ensues
in radiant hues
missed only by the fool

and I at rest
in casual dress
do thrive on peaceful strummings
pluck at my soul
with gentle roll
to calm my goings and comings

Ah reminds me when i'm out there sunbathing Lovely

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.

Thanks, MoonDust! Where is Pie Land? That sounds like a SUPER place to be!
