Rest Stop Virginia Salter gentle, cooling breeze swirls places peace at each side world’s hum surrounds yet touches not, beyond the hearing crow’s shadow greets me draws my eye upward pulls it toward snow-flecked peaks yet no call to come only “take in our awesomeness against soft cerulean sky” sharp, jagged aretes made smooth to the heart by the moment soothing weariness of soul © July 11, 2000 |

~*Sigh*~ I felt very relaxed after reading this piece Virginia. Few words painted an entire scene....... Makes me want to go for a drive! Well Done! ~Sheri "The things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those who got there first" |

this is well written, loved the images Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning. |

Thanks, irie! And today, here, would be a lovely day for a drive. the sky is a pale morning powder blue with bits of feathery clouds and a rising amber glow above the budding trees and crow flies. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for reading/commenting! |

Thanks, Moon Dust! How'd you do that? You got your comment in in between the first one and my reply. Glad you enjoyed! |
