Deep Coping

when pain comes
very deep pain
weak beings crumble
strong beings gain

have you ever imagined
from whence comes
your gift?
have you ever imagined
what pain then gives
you lift?

how do you imagine
the violin sings
so sweet
or that a piano's note
can render your
next heart's beat
that a line of rhyme
can tear your
mind asunder
or that wind can
muster forth
the thunder

from pain
from pain of life
and living
from pain of strife
and giving

but somehow
we go forth
to give of
our worth
to place our place
on earth
in pain of death
and birth

so the music sings
on violin string
on a poet's line
in search of rhyme
in the thunder of
a drummer's beat
in the allegro
of a pianist's heat

in the deepest coping
comes the strength of hoping

a lifeline, coping, an art
deep coping finds its start
hold fast, and embrace
deep coping has its place

Ah we wouldnt apperiate life so much without pain. Nice write

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.

Superb to the ultimate! Lady in White, I've written on this subject often, but surely never so uniquely and beautifully. Well done!

out of our pain - comes so much that we find value in - It is hard to comprehend - but how else could we bear the pain?
you speak to me so clearly as you speak from within

I had to come back for another read, and to put this in my library because I rarely hear the term "deep pain" but I've always used it, and now I see it differently, deep coping thank you from the bottom of my heart.
