~*~ THOUGHTS ON A GLOOMY DAY ~*~

In Vancouver, it's such a cold, dark, and gloomy day,
You know, the kind that chills you right to the bone,
A day that opens all those doors of depression,
As you sit and ponder my dismal life here all alone.

The kind of day that makes me really think,
About all the things that seem to make me sad.
I really start digging down deep to find them,
Just to make sure that I will feel really bad.

And just when I am finally really ready to cry,
A flicker of sunshine starts to appear,
The warmth and glow of this glorious light,
Seems somehow to eliminate sadness, and fear.

Funny how sometimes on a dark, dismal day
The weather can really affect the mind’s mood,
And just a simple little ray of sunshine,
Has the power to make you simply feel so good.

*~* sigh...hurry up Spring ~*~

Nicely written Sharon! I know this feeling well, and you've described it beautifully. It's such a wonderful surprise to have your mood lifted with the change in the weather patterns ... I second the call for spring! Really enjoyed this!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Can't wait for spring too, but I like this, speaks of hope

Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning.

Wonderfully done...
the graphic, the music, the poems message all wonderfully conveyed
a polished presentation
lovely Mysteria

Some find subtlety in strangers
some find subtlety alone
Your eyes,you see everything
my eyes,I see its all together now
and I know.

Oh, how spectacular! Thank you and the poem as well.
