I WALK AROUND WITH THIS LOOK ON MY FACE PEOPLE ASK ME WHY AINT U WITH YOUR RACE MOST OF THE TIME I DON’T EVEN REPLY CUZ I KNOW WHEN I KNOW WHY I HAVE MUG ON MEAN YOU SEE IT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR YOUNG WHEN U SHOULD BE HAVING FUN YOU DON’T EVEN NOTICE IT THEN BUT LATER YOU WILL LOKK BACK AND SAY MANE THAT’S WHERE IT ALL STARTED……… MUG ON MEAN NOW THAT I’M OLDER I MUST STOP AND WONDER WHY PEOPLE DRAG YOU UNDER, KEEP YOU FROM TIGHT,SITI’N DAAARK AS NIGHT THEY ALL STAREAND WHISPER AFRIAD TO SPEAK. NOT NOWING WHY…… MUG ON MEAN SEE THIS IS A EXPRESION ON YOUR FACE SOMETIMES AS IF YOU WERE SPRAYED BY MACE FOR SOME RESON I’M MAD AT THE WORLD I BEEN DOWN A LONG HARD ROAD TO GET HERE. TO TEL YALL WHY….. MUG ON MEAN SEE IT IS LIKE A TRAGIC MOVIE,BUT SOMEBODY WOULD WANT TO SUE ME I COULD WRITE A BOOK IF I NEW WHERE TO LOOK I BEEN HERE I BEEN THERE,I WAS A HUSLER WHO DID’NTCARE. PEOPLE ALWAYS LOOK BUT NEVER SPEEK THINKING THAT THEY R TO WEAK SAYIN “HE AINT TRYIN TO HEAR” YOU SEE THAT IS A RESON WHY….. MUG ON MEAN I’M A YOUNGSTA THEY SAY,21 AND I ALREADY HAD IT MY WAY BUT YOU SEE EVERYONE SAY’S HE A THUG NOT KNOWING HE GOT LOVE DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT’S COVER, U L HEAR & U MIGHT MAKE IT. IF U DON’T HEED THEN I WILL TAKE IT I GET SO TIRED THAT I DON’T CARE,SO I HAVE THIS SILENT STAR…. MEAN MUG I GOT ARRESTED AND WENT TO PRISON THAT’S WERE IF U ARE SMART YOU WILL LISTEN NOT TO WHAT PEOPLE SAY BUT ABOUT YOURSELF CUZ SOMEBODY GONNA TRY TO TAKE YOU OFF THE SHELF BE REAL STAY DOWN FOR U AND MAYBE IT WILL COME TRUE LIFE IN THA HOOD USED TO BE ALL GOOD BUT EVERYONE WANNA HOLDU DOWN….. MUG ON MEAN IF YOU SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING RUN BFORE THEY START CAPING CUZ U CANT WAIT TILL U GET HIT TO LEARN WHO U WITH FIND YOURSELF, NEVER START LOOKING CUZ I’M 21 GOING ON 40, ONLY KNOWING IT STARTED EARLY AND THAT’S WHY THIS POETIC THUG GOT HIS…. I'm reading between the lines, and I see someone who has been taught a very hard lesson growing up before his time. I welcome you here in passions look forward to more, I think you really have alot to share, very expressive writing, afterall poetry does open the heart and help us to breath. |

"NOW THAT I’M OLDER I MUST STOP AND WONDER WHY PEOPLE DRAG YOU UNDER," I think sometimes the people who try to drag you under are not really doing it out of cruelty or mean spiritedness....I think perhaps it's done on some level out of self protection.....they feel so bad about themselves they need to try to place others below them in order to feel good about their own place in life? I'm new to Passions but I feel safe in saying that if you stick around here for a while all these wonderful people may be able to help you turn that "mean mug" into a smiling mug!! |
