Ehh.. I haven't written much poetry for a while, so I appologize if it isn't written very well.. I know I would have liked to see better, but couldn't figure out how.

Through our eyes
we see many differences.
And it is through these differences
that we let our lives flow past.

Through these differences,
we split our friendships apart.
All the time we could spend together,
time shifts us apart.

And now we open up a quarrel
between our present and our past
we only sacrifice our future,
through the bitterness that lasts.

Never fully forgiven,
never fully trusted,
we finally realize
we may never see eye to eye.
