Rainbow Dreams There’s a place I can get to and its not far away A magical place where soft dreams holds sway The sun always shines and it’s never ever too hot And the plants that I grow spring from their pot The clouds are small and fluffy never ever grey There’s are no rain clouds to mar the golden day Peace and contentment fill my soul with bliss And the wonder of the place is held in your kiss There’s a place I could live in for times eternity A place filled with magic and wondrous mystery It’s painted with rainbows coloured in dreams hue And the children of the rainbow are never blue The songs of angels fill the azure skies in delight And winged unicorns give aerial displays in flight Wonder and awe fill my heart stunning my eyes And the majesty of this place is held in your sighs There’s a place I flee to whenever I need its peace A place of sanctuary where all my troubles cease It’s there within my reach whenever I have to go My world of dreams like a river it seems to flow I get there across the Rainbow Bridge of my dreams To enter a land where nothing is as it might seem Life is a dream and the world is full of loves beauty And the joy of this place is held in your mystery Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |
