to think the sun would leave and darkness would encompass all ...and I in dark of night to feel for the candle and touch the unlit wick there, in the dark wondering if my wondering would bring the flame to me... knowing that without action without that spark ignited I would continue alone in the dark until, that is, the come of morn and in the first light of your eyes… see the flame that was there all along… |
