Parallel Horizon
By: Noah Eaton
2/27/01

You are awakening now
In the demise of your throes
You’re teetered down at the spiritual demimonde
As the sun begins to rise in your soul
You say you’re disillusioned and out of hope
Shame on you for thinking this way
Come on now, may the power of light be the shovel that digs you out
Excavate from your oily sea that divides your reasoning

Escape into your own fantasy microcosm
Wake up, and step up to the overpass from your faith’s chasm
And let yourself fall into your parallel horizon

You are standing now
Paying a ransom to your demigod within
You’re naked before the aftermath
Your noon hangs naked before you
Bereaved of a second wind, isolated in your shame
Weeping for the future, waiting for simplicity to hide your nakedness
Like a horned toad waiting for the first warm spring rain
Digging it’s way up, a thirsty puppy eager in getting it’s new skin wet

Recover the true peace that has been bequeathed
Resting like the cornflower moon breathing upon a highland stream
All that taints your soul must be cleaned, all that burdens you must be reaved

There is much nobody can tell you
There is much only you alone can do
Your inner-world is yours to discover, step on through

Out of the box teaches you much, but its what’s in the inside that personally matters
Only your positive judgments can turn the handle of enlightenments jack-in-the-box
Free the laughing harlequin of fear from your mind, scheming wrongs he waits for you to concoct
The love you give is equivalent to the love you receive, the more the easier

Step outside where He can see you now
Wait no longer, this is your time and your time alone
Stroll out into the prairie under graces parachutes
Throw yourself into the lap of atonement
Hear the sounds of tranquility beckon
See the tangerine sun drip from the gray skies, stick your tongue out
Drink the peace, clear your rite of passage
Leaving all and only the dreams of freedom we have collected through our individuality

Loosen yourself in the light, only your creativity gives birth to creation
Do what you must in reality, but find some time to relax yourself in your intuition
Let’s all fly away for at least one brief moment…to our parallel horizons
