now it's the decade of seasoning reasoning
when the weather becomes chaotic and pleasing
as the world paints a canvas for you to view
and even the oldest thing becomes brand new
so watch as the spring rains change the world
as the flowers and buds come unfurl'd
lay in the grass as it fades from brown to green
gaze at the things you saw yet never had seen
as the world moves around you painting, changing
open your eyes and take pause for seeing, breathing
watch as life grows from death and color from darkness
to a new level of life and a new amount of sharpness
as the world comes into focus, watch and wait, breath and sigh
and you will know that to be beautiful, sometimes you must die
for in death we see the beauty that we had
we see the victories, both good and bad
we see the youth of countless sunny days thrown away
we lose the wisdom and knowledge that one might say
we lose a piece of ourselves when something dies
a piece never to be fixed no matter who tries
and it's the spring that comes to give us life we lost
its price is infinate, and yet cheap is the cost
it's time for seasoning reasoning once more
a time for words and a time for pen galore
so prepare your ink, find a muse
the one you get, you might not choose

James,

Very nice poem here. The title is unique, I like it. I can't wait for spring myself. Makes me think of walking barefoot in the grass or just being outside at night with a cool breeze, watching the stars. This was nice preview for that. Thanks for it

luv ya.
