Hoping to Know There is a great sense of calm In this feeling, called hope It lends itself to serenity Allowing one to cope But in the hope of a love That which rings so true Comes soft a sweet knowing In the knowledge of you No longer do I hope to know If you have a love for me For I am within your eye of love And in this, know that which I see |

Continue to seek a clear vision...the secret of sight, surely. |

"For I am within your eye of love And in this, know that which I see" May not be for me - but it sure felt like it - and that shall (like hope) sustain me |

Great write ...the knowledge is so important to the happiness of the heart...well done!! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |

Hope and I weren't on speaking terms for a long time. *S* But it seems to be whispering again... and hoping for the knowing sure does sound sweet. I like this, Lady! *S* |
