On the outside faced pressed tight to life do you Understand that and every moment unfeeling there in The crowd larger than aloofness bitter posionedblood Sighs empty unanswered untouching and so untouched Inside you plead save the nauseated screams talk of Death you implore if only a momentary touching know Eartbound no starring reach hastens in gaze blindly Longing for a recognition and therein ascending Of self searched seized if seen noting gain the hunt Or within the trek spoor followed that mirrored one Knows suddenly where cancer of the soul began inside Intuitive declarations self diagnosis medicates all Nothings then and more the story said again know Growing distance between beyond he almost proud to Inhale the righteous selves lie breathing emotions Nomad needing neither water shelter or helping hand That "No man is an Island..." I once considered a challenge. As years go by I wonder, have I truly changed my mind. "Time is merely change. It neither enslaves nor determines us. It is instead our opportunity for self-definition" |
