In the moonlight, shadows dancing... |

Glowing stars appear entrancing, Clocks stand motionless in frost. Arms and legs and fates have crossed, In the moonlight-- shadows dancing. Carved into the pale wall As though ancient hieroglyphics-- Phantoms of the sleepless evenings In eternity enthralled. One more step and we will soar, All is turning, all is twirling. Our reflections-- spinning, whirling, In the moonlight, on the floor. In the twilight’s masquerade, Hungry eyes light up the night They declare with solemn pride, “Rather burn to dust than fade...” Check out my poetry here: http://www.unknownpoets.com/db/authors/master |

Master~ This is quite wonderful ! I particularly am drawn to the unique rhyme scheme. Very, very nicely done. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
