Quandary Virginia Salter the past is gone to naught but a memory the future is yet to be today has enough worries all its own so worry not for the ‘other times’ but live, here, in the present touted truths gifted from many in various ways the bottom line live today yet I find myself thinking if I am to live in the ‘present’ perhaps it is important to untie the ribbon remove the tape pop the lid claim the reservation and LIVE! being tied up in the present in the moments of ‘one-day-at-a-time’ helps one cope helps one deal with the everyday helps one survive survive or thrive the quandary of the century cope or hope or sit and mope would I have want to thrive be alive take a dive ah some days just survive © February 18, 2001 |
