The Ballad Of Risky Rick It’s always been difficult to keep track of me But everyone who knows me say its me they see I may have so many names but still I remain Whatever name I answer to I am still the same Everyone knows I don’t play silly games at all I’m honest not sneaky into treachery I don’t fall You know there is a moral here and a tale true This is the Ballad Of Risky Rick a man like you? Risky Rick is a man who’s just a little bit older The type that enjoys tears on his manly shoulder A man you would think as honest, he’s true blue Risky Rick a gentleman, ladies he’s a man for you I’m sad to say he’s not he doesn’t play very fair Risky Rick will give you some troubles to share I know you don’t believe me it’s all rather queer Okay I’ll try to explain but it’s difficult I fear Girls here is a warning to you all to watch out Risky Rick is on the loose he’s roaming about And whatever name in which you might try to hide Risky Rick will be there in him you will confide Whatever you say will come back to haunt you Whatever your truth you’ll be told it’s untrue Dreary nights and days follow and endless stress Girls I warn you about him, he will then obsess My tale is simple and has a moral that’s clear Stay away form Risky Rick it’ll all end in tears Stick to the real world don’t get hooked on line Pain is the consequence and it’s a waste of time This isn’t a real world don’t seek out Mr. Right Take yourself out there go and find your light Leave Risky Rick to his world of shallow dream Find your life and love where truth is always seen Melody But love me for love's sake, that evermore Thou mayst love on, through love's eternity Elizabeth Barrett Browning |

I know exactly what you mean I've had the same trouble with Risky Rhonda...she's from the cold side of Venus......oh how I need to get together with Miss in between! The poet is like a cocoon; in him the caterpillar of the past finds rest, and from him the butterfly of the future emerges. |

I think I know what your message, ultimatel is in this piece, but it does get a bit confusing, especially in the 2nd stanza. Perhaps that's to reinforce the riskiness of Risky Rick. |

Melody, you write just like a friend of mine and as for risky Rick I think I've met him or at least one of him. Write on Kethry Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life. Patty Hansen. |

LOL ! That Risky Rick such a little Poet before long I Remember that maybe he Is lurking there Can't remember if I Know him ! Sorry dearie - Obviously I couldn't find anything to rhyme with Rick ! Does that mean I can't play anymore- Cause I really Know you want me to ! How ever do you keep On your toes With someone like that ? Seeing as how he Loves to keep popping Into your life Causing such strife Knowing that you know ! LOL Great folly here ! *smiles* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
