Apart from me you wondered, only but a second it took, for a fake rose to offered her costly heart. You returned with guilty hands. All the time turning your head, hiding your knowing eyes. With your life you do deny. But your gaze, it cannot lie. It cannot hide all the pain, that her thorns inflicted in them. A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes. |
